- Abstract
- Peter Berger's name is most often associated with phenomenological sociology and the sociology of knowledge. However, for almost a quarter of a century, Berger also studied the sociology of religion, the study of” economic culture“, the relationship of” culture " (religions, beliefs, values) and the economic development of different countries. His latest projects are cross-cultural studies and focus on topics such as religion in a globalizing world; its influence on economic behavior and development; the relationship between capitalism and democracy, market economy and individualism.
