Abstract
It is given an objective analysis of the current state of the methodological crisis of world psychology.On the basis of current discussions, it is concluded that there is a number of issues that are not paid attentionto, but are of high importance and can predict the development of Russian psychology in the context of theworld psychology. These are issues such as problems of research replications, statistical inference, preparatorystage of articles publication, etc. It is necessary to increase the statistical literacy of the psychologicalcommunity in order to preserve the possibility to remain in the mainstream of the world psychologicalscience.
