- Abstract
- The aim of the article, based on the principles of the subject's psychology – the principle of determinism, the understanding of the psyche as a process, is to trace the development of ideas of thesubject-activity approach in modern psychology. S.L. Rubinstein understanding of methodology of Man and World interaction is presented; the direction of further scientific development of the subject's psychology in the works of A.V. Brushlinsky is shown. The analysis of social support problem in psychology is provided and the possibilities of constructing a research methodology based on the principles of the subject's psychology are defined. It was formulated the idea that modern psychology proceeds along the path of systematizing the differences in how exactly different subjects perceive and react to external influences and in the direction of identifying criteria for this systematization. A set of theoretical and empirical studies of the problem of social support in psychology is presented, the results of which are analyzed in accordance with three criteria: the subject of support, the subject of acceptance of support, and social support as a process.
