- Abstract
- The results of researches aimed at verification of B.M. Teplov’s hypothesis that the ones with a weak nervous system are not only more sensitive but more reactive as well compared to the ones with strong nervous system are presented. It has been revealed that schoolchildren with weaker nervous system (more reactive) have higher level of commutability (greater experience of communication, satisfaction with communication and greater involvement in role training) than schoolchildren with more expressed strength of nervous system (areactive). In study of choral college students it has been shown that the weaker and more labile their nervous system is the higher their musical abilities (ear for music, rhythm, music memory, emotionality and logical thinking) are. High lability and weakness of nervous system (high reactivity) are typical for communicativespeech type of linguistic abilities. The given results support B.M. Teplov’s hypothesis about greater reactivity of “weak” nervous system. Prospects for further researches within Teplov – Nebylitsyn proposition about close relationship between nervous system properties and different individual-psychological properties of a person have been outlined.
