- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the definition of the role of reflexivity and structures of meaning for resilience. The results of adult sample study (n = 122; age 18-65 years, 60 males, 62 females) are presented. It has been shown that the resilience in various ways is connected with the structures of meaning and the level of reflexivity as in the whole sample, and in different gender groups. The main components of resilience of the sample are the individual resources, including positive self-esteem, internality and the general attitude towards the world of meaning. The gender differences are shown: males' resilience connected with the knowledge of the world as benevolent and kindly people, females' resilience associated with justice and well-controlled world. It was proved that male' reflexivity is an adaptive regulatory mechanisms associated with their general resilience and individual resources of resilience, internality, their awareness of the world as a meaningful and supportive, with the kindness of people, as well as the perception of themselves as fortunate and lucky. The level of reflexivity in the group of men is their adaptive regulative mechanism and has correlation with their resilience.
