The importance of long-term forecasts of psychology development are shown. Strengths and limitations of the forecast of development of psychological science in 2030, conducted under the leadership of A.L. Zhuravlev, T.A. Nestik, A.V. Yurevich, are presented. The necessity of Russian psychological science identity is argued. It is stated that we live in “the Era of psychology”. The lack of sound development strategy is the main reason hampering the progress of Russian psychology. Those who do not create their own strategies always take others’.
