- Abstract
- The article discusses the current state and prospects of development of organizational psychology. It is shown that even developing largely independently, organizational psychology in the issues, methods and approaches is inseparably connected with the psychology of work. The research and current issues in this research area, as well as the most important factors that determine its further development are analyzed. It is shown that the main trends in the development of organizational psychology will be determined by the impact of globalization and technological changes. The effect of these factors will lead to greater focus on the real needs of the organizations and practical results, achieved by organizational psychologists. The interest in the individual and talent management will increase, the problems of organizational ethics and enhance of the organizational resilience will attract special attention. There will be changes in basic skills and the role of organizational psychologists as well. It is concluded that any changes are reasonable and positive only in the case if they are not trying to completely deny its opposite - stability, i.e. the experience and knowledge accumulated by mankind in a specific field of activity.
