- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the study of trust's and identity‘s contribution to determination of teamwork efficiency. Models of trust, identity, and team efficiency are described; types and levels of trust and components of identity in group are revealed within the bounds of the authors' microgroup theory. The contribution of trust and identity components to perception of performance and social effectiveness of team and informal subgroups by team members have been studied on the sample of 37 production teams (N=331 p.). Multiple-factor design of the research was carried out by means of regression analysis. It was revealed that microgroup trust and microgroup identity influence linearly on team members' perception of object-action and socio-psychological team's efficiency. Group and interpersonal trust, group and interpersonal identity contribute positively to team's socio-psychological efficiency. The most powerful positive contribution to socio-psychological efficiency of informal teams renders microgroup trust and microgroup identity, interpersonal trust and interpersonal identity. It is stated that the levels of trust and identity make complex contribution to perceived object-action and socio-psychological efficiency of team and informal teams by team members; at the same time, its distinctive feature is multidirectional vector of influence of different levels of trust and identity on parameters of perceived team's efficiency.
