- Abstract
- The structural organization of typical stiles of activity, the level of their integration, the measure of styles' agreement with actual environment in connection with efficiency of professional activity have been studied. The results of survey of young sportsmen with sport achievements (48 judoists aged 17-22) obtained by means of the author's questionnaire “Style of wrestling” are considered. Correlations between the activity styles' structure in three subsystems (subjective comfortable activity conditions, operational structures, individual regulators/ types of organization) and subjects' activity efficiency (their actual results, achievements in the next age group and in the future as trainers) have been analyzed. Six types of activity styles acting as “matrixes” for development of individual activity styles are defined. It has been shown that styles of activity act as mental means of access to different types of subject's resources. It has been defined that the quality in which environmental conditions are involved in subject's activity as “conditions”, “factors” or “determinants (according to B.F. Lomov) depends on type of style, peculiarities of its structural organization and its correlation with environment. Inadequate character of interaction of individual style of activity with surroundings restricts not only the efficiency of the activity but successfulness of a subject in related professional areas as well. Moderate correlations of structural components of style of activity are connected with the higher efficiency of style and higher successfulness of subjects; excessively close and weak correlations, quite the contrary, lower the efficiency of activity styles.
