Abstract
The work is focused on the analysis of the modifications in the subject field of psychological science according to the ideas of experimental methodology and abstract-analytical psychology developed by Ya.A. Ponomarev. In the 2-nd part of the paper definitions for the subject and object of abstract-analytical psychology as well as their ontological status are considered. Definitions of the general science principles, such as interaction/development, determination, activity and systemic approach modified by Ponomarev are used as a basis for statement of the subject of abstract-analytical psychology. These versions of principles allow to (1) introduce the attributes of the subject of abstract-analytical psychology; (2) substantiate its ontological status; (3) determine ways to operationalize it for empirical research and (4) describe its development and differentiation. It has been found that along with paradigmal content specificities there is a principal similarity of the subject of research of abstract-analytical psychology and systemic evolutionary paradigm. It can be concluded that abstract-analytical psychology and systemic evolutionary paradigm constitute an entire research program (in term of I. Lakatos's conception) that could be designated as systemic evolutionary abstract-analytical psychology. Experimental evidence obtained in fundamental studies conducted in the framework of the systemic evolutionary paradigm demonstrated rich resources of Ponomarev's conceptions for psychological and psychophysiological research. Thus, Ponomarev's methodology enables psychology to define its own subject and object of research, to prove the ontological status of the subject of research through empirical falsification procedures, providing necessary conditions for evolution of psychology as a sovereign science.
