В аналитическим обзоре обосновывается актуальность исследований процессов социальных сравнений в рамках клинической психологии. Представлены данные о распространенности зависти в социальных сетях, что позволяет выдвинуть тезис о культуральной фасилитации социальных сравнений. Представлены результаты зарубежных исследований, посвященных процессам социальных сравнений при депрессивных расстройствах и искаженном образе телесного Я, лежащем в основе нарушений пищевого поведения. Обоснованы гипотезы о личностном профиле индивидов, склонных к частым и “болезненным” сравнениям. Отстаиваются преимущества исследования перфекционизма и нарциссизма в качестве личностных детерминант частых социальных сравнений. Обозначены перспективы будущих разработок в данном направлении.
