- Peculiarities of healthy persons' coping and the one in patients with neurotic and psychosomatic disorders are studied in the article. The structure of coping consisting of anticipation consistency, defense mechanisms and coping strategies are described. Comparative analysis of structural organization of coping indices between healthy persons and patients with neurotic and psychosomatic disorders are carried out. Peculiarities of coping typical for neurotic and psychosomatic disorders are revealed. Adaptive model of stress-coping hypothesizing specifi c character of correlation between anticipation consistency and defense mechanisms and person's coping strategies is described.
