- Abstract
- Adaptive peculiarities of women who are going to become surrogate mothers have been studied. Data about their personal adaptive potential, behavior regulation, communicative potential, moral standards as well as basic personal set of symptoms were compared with characteristics of women who refused to participate in the programs of surrogate mothering (N = 88). The results confirmed the hypothesis about higher adaptive capability (behavioral regulation and communicative potential) and lesser level of hypochondria, anxiety, individualistic potential of surrogate mothers
