- Abstract
- The analysis of terrorism's motivational determinants as a whole and of suicidal terrorism in particular is done. Spiritual-and-religion basis of behavior motivation and relationships between representatives of Christian and Islamic socio cultural societies are considered. The conflict between the Western (individualistic) and the Eastern (traditionally collectivistic) cultures as a possible reason for suicidal terrorism development in the modern geopolitical situation is analyzed. Psychological specificity of terrorism in the modern world is revealed and tendencies of its control in strategic perspective are shown.
