- Theoretical and empirical analysis of correlations between emotional Stroop effect (as one of the indices of the process of processing of emotionally colored information) and ‘emotional intelligence is done. Emotional intelligence was measured by means of D.V. Lyusin's questionnaire “EmIn” and D.V. Lyusin's and V.V. Ovsyanikova's “Emotional Intelligence” videotest. Statistically significant result in indices of emotional Stroop effect was obtained by means of special authors' method for discrimination between subjects with “direct” and “reverse” effect. Correlation between intensity of the effect is revealed only with “EmIn” indices (general score and “Management of one's emotions” scale) and only for subjects with direct effect. There is no correlation in subjects with reverse effect.
