Abstract

The notion of normative ideal (norm-ideal) and its signifi cance for professional communities are considered in the article. A conceptual system including the notions of objective meaning, subjective meaning and sense is presented. According to the system the normative professional ideal of a scientist (particularly, in the area of human sciences) is characterized.
