- Abstract
- The problem of emotions’ recognition ability measurement as a component of emotional intelligence is analyzed. New procedure (video test) enabling to measure two aspects of emotions’ recognition – accuracy of emotional state modality assessment and sensitivity to emotions’ intensity is proposed. Satisfactory level of video test’s reliability and validity is demonstrated by means of its psychometric analysis. Recommendations on its improvement are proposed.
