- Abstract
- There are analyzed the methodological conceptions of studying humanitarian branch of knowledge. The results of polemics about the essence of the method of humanitarian sciences are presented. There are discussed different approaches to researching historical material, the role and the tasks of specialists in the process of scientific knowing and the possibility of objective historiography. The methodological basis of psychology is considered, classification of methods to study historical-psychological problems is elaborated. The number of innovative methods of history of psychology is suggested. The comparative method which is based on idea of equal existence of different theories in contemporary science regardless of their historical age is emphasized.
