- Abstract
- Professional identity is considered as a potential characteristic of professionals’ subjective reality. It is studied on the basis of opposition research related to self-consciousness functioning - “real I” and “ideal I”. Professional identity was operationally defined as semantic contiguity of constructs “by myself” (presentation of my real professional qualities), “real I” (whom I want to be) and “potential I” (whom I can be). As were lawyers, therapists and accountants.
- Keywords
- Рrofessional activity, professional identity, subjective model of reality, concept of “self” in professionals.
