- Abstract
- The article examines psychological possibilities to increase national competitive strength by mean of developing such components of human capital as achieving motivation, general, social, and emotional intelligence, creativity, etc. Some researches on links between psychological traits of the population and economical achievements of different countries are reviewed. It is proposed to develop the human capital in this country by systematically ameliorating the educational system on the bases of fundamental research that should be a nationalpriority. In this respect the current state and the perspectives of the interaction between theory, experiment, andpractice in psychology are considered.
