Abstract
The development of psychoanalytic ideas in the works of L.S. Vygotsky is considered. The idea concerning having one’s desires by the explications their in the words, developed in psychoanalytic theory can be with enough foundation paralleled with idea about having oneself by the sign, presented in Vygotsky’s theory. Similarity conditioned by the unity in understanding of sign’s function, which consists of interiorization of social control. The criterion of development of personal mentality in psychoanalysis and in cultural-historical theory as well is the subject’s ability to regulate archaic forms of mental processes himself by the representation them in the word. Both Freud and Vygotsky working out this problem rather clearly used Gegel’s dialectic applyng to the understanding of mental development processes on the ontogenetic and philogenetic levels. The questions devoted to the role of the sign in the mental development and representation of intersubjective nature of consciousness.
