Abstract
The conception of two principles of spatial processing: topological and metric is proposed. Topological principle of processing is shown to be widely spread at early stages of phylo-, onto- and perceptogenesis. Computer procedure for topological-metric-choices ratio is elaborated. In the series of experiments it was set that the role of topological principles of processing is higher in short expositions, when stimuli are presented in peripheral field of vision and in childhood.
Keywords
spatial processing, topological and metric principles, topological-metric-choices procedure, stages of perceptogenesis.
