Abstract

Correlation of personality peculiarities with auditory activity is analyzed. The model of purposeful (rational) and emotional Self as a subject of auditory activity is proposed. Three levels of auditory activity – reactive, spontaneous and introspective – mental and corresponding to them three personality types: audio – reactive, audio – spontaneous and audio – introspective are allotted. Such forms of personality auditory inactivity as melomania, internal speech hearing dependence, auditory hallucinations and auditory apathy are considered.
