- Abstract
- The role and the significance of A.A. Smirnov’s school are examined. The originality of its contribution to modern theory of memory development in posing of a number of problems and investigation lines (includinginterdisciplinary), broadening of possibilities of practical utilization of its results is shown. The results of development and deepening of the nature of mnemonic abilities study are presented. Present-day elaborations proved experimentally the significance of A.A. Smirnov’s ideas for future theory development and memory study.
