- Tendencies in the development of psychophysiology from I.P. Pavlov, B.M. Teplov, V.D. Nebylicin to modern system studies of individuality are analyzed. Logically connected periods in differential psychophysiology forming - implicit, explicit, reflexive, institutional - are specified. Historical invariance and specific character of changes in technologies of typological cognition is shown. Importance of differential psychophysiology for theory and practice of present-day psychology is underlined.
