- Based on S.L. Rubinstein’s ideas the author formulates principles of ontological approach to perception study which is considered as generated in the course of man–world interaction event. The system character of perceptual process is emphasized. Its main constituents (subject and object of perception, perceptual activity, perceptible image, etc) are analyzed. The perspectives of ontological approach in psychology are discussed.
