Abstract
The cognitive-personal aspects of psychic traumatization are considered. It includes interrelations of posttraumastic reactions and basic cognitive believes, involving deep notions about self and environment. It is shown that in individuals who experienced trauma from external source (participation in military operations) intensive posttraumatic stress are reactions related with negative believes about the world and the self. If the source of traumatization localised inside the individual (dangerous illness), intensity of posttraumatic stress reactions is related only with negative representations about self-worth. Belief about benevolence of external world is not changed in this case.
