Abstract
There is shown that newborn boys and girls in the first days of their life can be differed on static and dynamic faces images. The success of the differentiation doesn’t depend on newborn physical characteristics. Sex perception is mainly cholistic. Neither experience of work with newborns, nor educational level, nor having their own children by observers influences accuracy of newborns’ sex identification. Women recognize sex significantly better. The probability of a correct recognizing of boys and girls is different.
