- Abstract
The results of four series of researches, devoted to study of relations between intellectual abilities (cognitive, metacognitive, academic, conceptual) and coping strategies' choice (questionnaire "Adolescents Coping Scale") are discussed. The results indicate that persons with higher indices of intellectual productivity along with problem-oriented strategies actively use emotional and social coping strategies. Intelligence is interpreted as psychological resource providing mobility and variability of coping behavior.
