Abstract

The model of mental states' notional regulation is presented. Notional structures of consciousness (personal sense, values, notional dispositions etc.) as well as meaning, emotional experience and attitudes are the components of the model. It is shown that the influence of notional structures of consciousness on mental states is mediated by situations of subject’s activity, mode of living and, as a whole, by the field of culture. Relationships between the components of the model are discussed.
