- Abstract
- The problem of specific character of film perception and mechanisms of psychological effect of cinematographic videoline, especially pictures’ montage is examined. The idea that montage is a form of spectator’s psychic functions “control” is advanced. Mechanisms of psychological effect of film montage are compared with the processes of actualization, changing of attitudes and forms of spectator’s state of “presence” experience. The idea that it is possible to interpret film-video-line as a form of organization of self-contemplation, self-observation of spectator is stated.
