- Abstract
The career and scientific works of outstanding Russian psychologist B.G. Ananiev are reviewed. There are analyzed the main stages of his lete, his contribution to development of general, medical, developmental, pedagogic psychology and history of psychology. The major factors of Ananiev’s creativity and basic methodological principles of his concept of complex approach to Man were found. There were traced the perspectives of Ananiev ideas in contemporary psychology.
