- Abstract
Results of an analysis of personal and situational motivational-emotional and cognitive determinants of medical students academic achievements at the department of normal physiology are presented. Several indices of mental activity related to academic achievement in this discipline were revealed (intellect, anxiety, structure of learning motivation). However no definite and isolated determinant of academic achievement in this discipline was found; this fact testifies to the complex, multilevel character of a student’s mental activity during learning process.
