The locus of control and its role in delinquents behavior determination is discussed. A hypothesis is advanced that some general factors can be considered as the basis of the formation of delinquency and a certain type of control. Benefits due to extraction of two subscales (control in achievements and in failures) out of the general internality scale are substantiated. Empitical data on the locus of control in delinquents are conveyed and analyzed. The question of the manifestation of delinquents locus of control in the course of interpersonal communication is discussed.
