- Abstract
The principle of normativity role in study of thinking and in the conception of historism is emphasized. Social psychological normatives are charecterized as a system of social requirements, the meaning of norms in learning programs is noted. The normative approach gives an opportinity to investigate changes in the process of thinking while including in it some new contents. With references to genetics data a suggestion about subject’s initial natural predisposition to specific fields of knowledge is disproved. The role of the normativity in individual psychological studies is stressed. References to diagnostic psychological papers using the principle of normativity are given
