The essence of career education of prospective specialists is analyzed. The role of context learning is defined, personal sense of assimilated material is considered as one of the main factors of increased education efficacy. There is presented the author’s diagnostic questionnaire that defines the disciplines’ significance for career education of prospective specialists. The psychometric parameters of the questionnaire are presented also.
