Abstract
Methodological approaches to man and techniques and conceptions of automation and techniques designing developed in Russia and aboard are considered. All this variety is classified; main peculiarities of approaches and conceptions in distinguished classes are described. Correspondence of approaches and conceptions to dif ferent objects functioning and controlling and to the characteristics of subject-object relations is analyzed. The limitations of approaches and conceptions in design on contemporary complicated technological complexes considci ing then new system peculiarities (i.e. difficulties of organization of intersystem interaction, incompleteness of control models, potential situations) are shown.
