There are presented the results of empirical research of development of an image of successive professional in enrollees and students of tax academies in the process of becoming professionals. The image of the professional was analyzed on two levels - motivational one and the level of personal traits. It was shown that the image or the professional changes related to the stage of professionalism attainment. Enrollees, students and expert workers have different images of successive professional on the named levels. The level of this image development contributes greatly to the perspective of professional career. Special diagnostic value for professional perspective has motivational component of the image of successive professional.
