Abstract

Visual and auditory speech memory in heterosexual males with AIDS (N=19) at the stage of initial manifestations (generalized lymphoadenopathy). The following methods were used: memorizing of 6 words (two series of 3 words), a complex figure and a series of discrete figures that hardly am be verbalized. The significant (p<0.05) decrease of visual and auditory memory score in the subjects with AIDS was shown already at the early stage of the disease progression.
