Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the origin and development of the legal protection of the Constitution of our country. It focuses on such dominant institutions as the procedure for adopting, supplementing, and amending the Constitution of the Russian Federation; interpretation of the Constitution of the Russian Federation; and constitutional control and supervision. The most significant changes in this area aimed at improving, implementing, and improving the effectiveness of the legal protection of the Basic Law of the Russian Federation began in the 90s of the last century. Starting point – The Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993. Special attention is paid here to the analysis of the 2020 amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
