Abstract

The article is devoted to relations between Russia and USA with drawing attention to changing world order through the prism of International relations theory. The world of the 21st century, like the interaction of the great powers, cannot be fully understood and explained using such traditional models as realism or liberalism. In this regard, the author applies the English school of International relations as a compromise scientific theory, which provides a new interpretation of the dynamics of relations between Russia and USA at the present stage. The author comes to the conclusion that the foreign policy of Biden administration is a combination of elements of English school and differs in perception of the outside world as an arena of rivalry between two International Societies with own vision of the world order, led by the great powers.
