- Abstract
- The article is devoted to assessments of the sound and pronunciation aspects of poetry, prose and drama of the first half of the 19th century. In the emotionally interested remarks of Russian critics about euphony, sound writing and pronunciation correctness of works of art clearly reflected the linguistic and aesthetic preferences and normative and stylistic ideas of the era.
