- Abstract
- Within the framework of information technologies, computer techniques for solving sociological problems1 have been developed that remain unknown to most sociologists. There is no desire to get acquainted with the achievements of computer science at least approximately. The main reason for this is that sociologists do not know the appropriate methods. The article briefly describes promising technologies for sociology and shows their usefulness. The description is given in the context of discussing the problem of using mathematical methods in sociology, which are at the root of any computer technology.
