- Abstract
- The article highlights the situation with the use of indigenous languages of the North, Siberia and the Far East in the education system of the RussianFederation. There is a tendency to reduce the number of native ethnic speakers. languages and students studying it in schools as a subject, as well as a decrease in the number of educational institutions where these languages are taught. The situation is catastrophic. A system of urgent measures to support the study of ethnic languages is proposed.
