- Abstract
- The possibility of implementing secondary modernization in Russia is evaluated on the example of one of the most prosperous regions of Russia – the Tyumen region. Implementation of secondary (information) modernization with incomplete completion of primary (industrial) modernization is inevitably associated with certain contradictions of regional development. The emerging contradictions of the modernization process are considered. The existing obstacles to secondary modernization in the Tyumen region are highlighted.
