- Main events in the scientific biography of B.F. Lomov are presented and development of different branches of psychology - general and engineering psychology, psychology of management and methodology of psychology are examined. B.F. Lomov's pioneering ideas in the sphere of problems of personality, activity; communication, person's imaginative sphere etc. are revealed. Anthropological approach as well as principles of unity of theory, experiment and practice; system and complexity; socio-practical orientation in psychic's research that afterwards laid the foundation for development of program for created by B.F. Lomov Institute of Psychology in the system of Academy of sciences have been shown to be paradigmatic grounds for his scientific activity.
