- Abstract
- This paper discusses the developing approaches to studying discourse and how they evaluate various aspects of discourse organization, function and relation to the society. The modern trends in investigation of discourse influence, the potential of intent-analysis and its perspectives were explored. Through the original methodical techniques of analysis the article finds new data on intentional organization of family everyday discourse and mass media discourse including election debates, interviews and talk-shows. General aspects of discourse organization and psychological mechanisms of discourse influence are complemented with analysis of conversational tactics, influence means and intentional basis of speakers' choices in the different communication contexts.
