- Abstract
- Conception of subjective estimation of intelligence (SEI) as a latent variable is based in theoretical-and-empirical study. The role of SEI as a mediator for "objective" measurement of intelligence is specified as an effect of seven procedures with nine fixed variables testing in students' sample (n=332). These measurements are presented by the results of intelligence testing and external assessments of other people as well as by variables characterizing personal peculiarities of ambiguity acceptance. Structural model enriching the notion about "unity of intellect and affect" and characterizing SEI as a manifestation of unity of functioning of men's intellectual-personal potential is verified.
