- The problem of social determination in psychological science development, main tendencies of its solution by the authors of present-day domestic and foreign textbooks in history of psychology are considered. Standpoints about character and peculiarities of the exerted infl uence, its kinds, levels, functions, about interconnection with object-logical and personal factors are defi ned. The results of study of political aspect in social determination of Soviet psychology development are presented. The conclusion about topicality of study of social determination in development of domestic psychology as the result of ineffi cient elaboration of the problem is drawn.
