Abstract
The results of elaboration of method for study of trust of locomotive driver in technical equipment are presented. Notion "trust in equipment" is considered as psychological attitude of man to equipment, specifi c character of which is in the fact of subject's understanding of possibility to perform professional tasks by means of this equipment, i.e. predictability of its operation and includes factors of equipment reliability and mastering. Constructive, content and criterial validity of questionnaire, its reliability, internal consistency, test-retest reliability have been defi ned and standardization have been carried out on the sample of locomotive crews' workers (N = 554). It is proved that method can be used for study of locomotive drivers' trust in equipment in professional activity.
