- Abstract
- Slav heathenism is considered as an early form of Russian people Weltanschauung and world understanding. Central psychological ideas, which were the basis for people's understanding of their inner psychic life and ideas about the world are specified. In the system of present-day notions they can be labeled as ideas of panpsychism, spirituality and determination of behavior, concept of a man's soul, socio-anthropomorphic conceptions. Implicit character of psychological outlooks of ancient Slavs which were mainly manifested through rite and cult actions is marked.
